Mr. Yan was graduated from School of Management, Jiao Tong University, B.E. and LL.M. on Economic Law, with composite background on Science, Economy and Law.

As the Managing Partner of Shanghai Fortran Law Firm,  Mr. Yan is famous for dealing with tough financial and taxation problem arises from investments, especially tax planning and structuring in incorporation, M&A, Subsidiary managing to find the best balance between business optimizing and legal risks. Mr. Yan has established stable cooperation relations with engineering departments, banks and government departments. Mr. Yan has handled many complex acquisition cases involving CSP France, Lansheng Hotel, etc.

During his practice, Mr. Yan also put much effort on academic writing, especially on corporation financial and taxation area. He has published many articles on Law, Modern Law, Sino-Foreign Laws, Comparative Law, Transaction of Jiaotong University.

Mr. Yan is able to practise in both English and Mandarin.
